The impact of hoarding on family members is significant and often results in long-term emotional and relationship issues. Hoarding is multi-faceted making coping with and understanding family members extremely difficult, overwhelming, frustrating, and embarrassing. For those that do not experience the impact of a family member who hoards, it is difficult to understand. Get the support you need by joining other community members that all share your lived experience. Research shows that peer support results in higher success rates in addressing coping, mental health issues, and behavioral change.
